Author Karen Bessey Pease has been writing stories and
poems since junior high school. She writes a column
for The Original Irregular, a local newspaper
serving the western Maine region. In her column,
“Observations from The F.A.R.M. (Fresh Air and Room
to Move)” Karen writes humorous and sometimes
touching stories about life in rural Maine; about
living off the beaten path, raising country kinds,
and properly educating a husband. Samples
of her poems and columns can be found on the
Gallery Page.
Karen also has a newly published young adult novel,
Grumble Bluff. For a synopsis of this
entertaining and poignant story, or to obtain

In her spare time, Karen is busy writing novels and

spending time with friends, improving the homestead
and reading. |
